Clinical Dietitian – Acute Care with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) at Vancouver General Hospital in Vancouver, BC.

Responsibilities

Within the context of a patient/client and family‑centred framework, assess patients for optimal nutrition support utilizing advanced clinical nutrition knowledge. Provide recommendations to the medical team regarding the route of nutrition support (enteral vs. parenteral) and composition of the most appropriate nutrition support and vitamin/mineral supplementation based on current practice guidelines and best practices. Develop nutrition support regimes and monitor clients regularly for appropriateness, tolerance, and safety.
