SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Facility Cleaning and Maintenance

· Ensure the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the facility at all times.

· Perform regular checks to ensure that wards, comfort rooms, and common areas are clean and well-maintained.

· Dust furniture and equipment, wipe down floors, windows, and other surfaces, and empty wastebaskets after each use.

· Handle waste disposal with proper segregation, including medical waste (syringes, gloves, masks, pill sachets, etc.), following hospital standards.

· Maintain and document the waste disposal process, ensuring compliance with protocols.

· Prepare segregated waste for daily collection and store it in designated locations.

· Remove blood and other bodily fluids immediately and sanitize the affected areas.

· Use appropriate cleaning tools like vacuum cleaners and washing machines as needed.

· Monitor and refill water dispensers and gallons.
