Clinical Advisor - Periodontics (Part-Time)

**NOTE: THIS ROLE WILL BE PART-TIME FOR ROUGHLY 6-8 HOURS PER WEEK.**

**ON-SITE REQUIRED.**

**Position Objective:** Provide services as a Periodontist in support of the overall functions of the Laboratory of Host Immunity and Microbiome (LHIM), Division of Intramural Research (DIR) within the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Evaluate patients for gum disease and other periodontal conditions.
+ Assist the Federal Task Leader with developing treatment plans, such as gum surgery and implant placement.
+ Advise the Federal Task Leader and patients on oral health information.
+ Collaborate with other staff to provide comprehensive care to patients.
