Clinical Chemist (Deadline: October 31, 2025)

​The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. 

Candidates may be MD &/or PhD holders, must be board-certified by the American Board of Pathology or American Board of Clinical Chemistry or their equivalents, have wide scope of analytical skills in routine and special chemistry areas especially tandem mass spectrometry and gas chromatography mass spectrometry, and must have strong interest in academic activities including research and teaching. 

Candidates must have displayed interest in pursuing a career in academic medicine as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals. Prior experience in a hospital laboratory and knowledge of College of American Pathologists (CAP) regulations is preferred. The AUBMC Laboratory services are accredited by CAP.​
