About the Role
As a Clinical Coder, you will provide accurate and timely coding of diseases and procedures for all patients discharged from the hospital. There is high demand to meet deadlines and to maintain accuracy and quality of information in line with NDHB and MoH requirements. You will need to have a high attention to detail, accuracy and proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload.
About the Team/Service/Location
Our team of 30 is split into three services: Clinical Records, Release of Information and Clinical Coding. This Clinical Coder role will be based in Whangarei and is currently an onsite only position.
About you
We are looking for an experienced Level 2 or above Clinical Coder. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritise changing workloads.
