Clinical Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

The NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer post will be based within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and will provide four years of general training in obstetrics and gynaecology appropriate to the seniority and experience of the successful candidate. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the strategic research programme of the Institute for Reproductive and Developmental Biology within the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction. 

The academic training focus will be at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and will align with the NIHR BRC Pregnancy and Prematurity theme. Combining academic research with clinical training, the overarching goal is to implement a research strategy that will deliver new diagnostic and predictive tools, novel therapies and clinical management guidelines to improve overall outcomes for pregnant women and their children.
