Clinical Nurse Manager - District Nursing

District Nursing Service, Whangarei – Permanent full time, 40 hrs per week.

About the Role

As part of the Whangārei District Nursing Team, the Clinical Nurse Manager will provide clinical and nursing leadership and management to facilitate the effective day‑to‑day safe operation of services and to contribute to the delivery of directorate objectives and nursing strategy.

You will also be responsible for:

• Effective, visible and accessible professional nursing leadership and clinical guidance, actively strengthening clinical staff to pursue clinical leadership and support nursing standards and practice.
• Supporting nursing staffing assessment based on acuity and resource decisions.
• Bringing a strategic view of education for District Nursing teams in partnership with the DN Leadership Team.

This is a permanent, full time position (1.0FTE) based in Whangarei, with some travel around the region required.
