About the Service

The Infant2Teen Health Assessment is based on a free holistic health assessment for children (0-17 years), within the context of their whānau and community setting. It is completed by a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) who is employed by Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora - Waitaha. The CNS is required to have appropriate postgraduate qualifications in Child and Youth Health, alongside comprehensive understanding of family violence dynamics, child protection issues and New Zealand legislation.
