Clinical Practice Leader

Overview


Directly reporting to the Director of Clinical Education, the Clinical Practice Leader (CPL) at Touro College of Dental Medicine's clinical site in Albuquerque, New Mexico is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of assigned specialty clinic(s). Clinical Practice Leaders also ensure appropriate coverage, administrative support and resolution of any issues within the clinic(s) they oversee.


Responsibilities


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Initiating and guiding student doctor/patient interaction and assist in transition to clinical practice

+ In the case of community practices, continually reviewing student rosters

+ Delegating patient assignments or redistributing to student doctors based on needs within the clinical environment for which they are responsible
