Clinical Respiratory Consultant

Responsibilities

• Conduct full respiratory assessments to meet the client’s goals and needs, ensuring quality care, including assessing test results, delivering necessary equipment and supplies, and determining respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians and care teams as per prescription.
• Initiate and manage CPAP and oxygen therapy as prescribed, providing education and instructions on equipment use and maintenance, and selecting the best-fit facial interface for long-term CPAP or Bilevel and oxygen treatment.
• Conduct appointments and set up equipment for sleep diagnostic testing in accordance with American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) guidelines and provincial regulatory requirements.
