Job Description

Job Title: Clinical VeterinarianJob Description

As a Clinical Veterinarian, you will be responsible for the health and welfare of animals at the facility. You will diagnose and treat medical conditions, diseases, and injuries, and perform high-level study procedures as needed. The role includes developing new techniques and being a vital member of the Animal Care Committee.

Responsibilities
  • Review and develop animal health and welfare programs to ensure they reflect the most up-to-date veterinary practices.
  • Maintain and develop facility animal veterinary-related procedures and SOPs.
  • Oversee rodent clinical health monitoring and health quality assurance programs.
  • Monitor and manage dog and cat colony clinical health and care programs.
  • Oversight of facility-specific SOPs and guidelines for animal care and use.
  • Participate in emergency care after-hours, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
