Job Summary
Closer is responsible for auditing, verifying, and ensuring that the mortgage loan closing disclosures are accurate and comply with regulations and timelines. They work with Branch Production and Processing teams to validate fees associated with the transaction, prepare the initial Closing Disclosure, review the loan file after final approval for changes, and prepare and inspect final loan closing documents for borrower sign‑off before funding. They coordinate with production teams and settlement agents to deliver disclosure documents to borrowers on or before the closing date, reviewing and ensuring accuracy of compliance disclosures at closing.
