What you'll be doing
The Cloud Systems Engineer position operates within the Technology & Engineering department at Future. We provide the global digital infrastructure and support required to deliver many high traffic brand websites, ecommerce/content analysis systems, back‑office services and advertising services. You'll report into the VP of Engineering and support the engineering team globally. We frequently participate in hack-days, local meetups and larger conferences to ensure our skills are kept thoughtful and to work with different members of the team.
You will help steer your team towards a common technical vision. You'll help analyse the current system, it's strengths and limitations. You will participate in roadmap and project planning efforts and will have ownership for delivering it. You'll participate in project management efforts as the teams implement plans, and you'll have a role in communicating progress and status to partners.
