Working across the Museum of Natural History and the History of Science Museum as part of the Museum Digital Collections function within the GLAM division, this role combines system administration, maintenance of collections information standards and user support for two instances of the EMu Collections Management System.
The postholder will work closely and collaboratively with a range of colleagues, translating collections practice and operational requirements into data workflows and system enhancements. The role also involves communicating on technical matters on behalf of the museums with the system vendor and other technical teams within and outside the University, and representing institutional requirements in relevant divisional and project meetings.
