Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is offering a free accelerated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course for first-year nursing or pre-nursing students. This is an accelerated training program that will run for three weeks. This program is hosted at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. Students must complete this 130-hour program within 3 weeks and take the State of Maine CNA Exam. Once students have graduated from the course and appear of the State of Maine CNA Registry, they will be placed in a per diem, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center and expected to work 36 hours/week during academic breaks, and four shifts per month while school i...
