CNA Trainee/Unit Assistant - SNU - Full Time

Summary

Provides general support tasks (non-clinical) for assigned care area. Works with other members of the patient care team to deliver care to specific populations. Expectation is for the Nurse Trainee to transition into a Certified Nurse Aid role once completion of training has occurred

Experience

Education and experience with computers preferred.

High School Graduate or equivalent

Licenses

Essential Functions

+ Participates in the delivery of patient care for population specific groups under the direction of an RN including but not limited to the following:


+ Delivery and retrieval of meal trays and general nutrition items

+ Stocking of supplies and nutrition items

+ Delivery of specimens to appropriate departments

+ Equipment cleaning

+ Patient room setup for new resident arrival

+ Deliver clean linen
