Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Precision Machining Engineer to support the production of high-accuracy components using Sodick CNC and EDM technology. This position focuses on machine optimisation, precision setup, process control, and maintaining strict dimensional tolerances within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and optimise CNC EDM wire cut equipment
Execute CNC programming tasks including ACAM-based machining processes
Analyse and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications
Fine-tune machining parameters to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes
Perform detailed dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments and CMM systems
