CNC Machinist Setter

Job description

• Set up and operate 3-axis, 4-axis and or 5-axis CNC milling machines according to procedures, programs and engineering drawings to manufacture machined parts efficiently and to specifications.
• Change cutting tools and adjust machines feed and speeds as needed.
  Responsible in CNC machine setup for junior level CNC Machinist to help eliminate non-conformance and machine down time.
• Setup and operate CNC Machines to produce parts as per drawing and within specifications
  Setup, operate and maintains measuring equipment, gauges and fixtures for inspection
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of work area at all time
• Responsible for material wastage control, manufacturing cost reduction and compliance with safety requirements
