Job Description
Morson are recruiting CNC Machinists, initially on a 6 month contract with GKN Aerospace at the advanced composite manufacturing facility at Western Approach. The site produces carbon fibre wing spars for major aircraft platforms including the A350 and A400M. This position is suited to CNC machinists with composite or metallic machining backgrounds, looking to work with modern CNC router and 5 axis technology.
Candidates MUST have LEVEL 3 qualifications – (include NVQ or City & Guilds) or apprenticeship – proof of certs will be required. If you do not have Level 3 qualifications or apprenticeship and no prior CNC experience, the client will not be able to consider you.
Shift Details
- DAY SHIFT – WESTERN APPROACH
- Nights option (37.5 hours)
- £24.51 PAYE per hour standard rising to £25.60 PAYE per hour when training stamp approved (approx 12 weeks)
- Monday Tuesday Wednesday Nights 8pm to 6am, Thursday 7pm to 4.30am
