CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Sterling, Virginia
Type: Long Term Contract (2+ years)
Compensation: $40-$45 per hour, depending on experience
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 40+
Security Clearance: Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite

Responsibilities


+ Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts

+ Interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure parts meet tolerances and quality standards

+ Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and adjustments as necessary

+ Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

+ Troubleshoot machining programs and processes

+ Maintain machine tools, cutting equipment, and workstations in a clean and safe condition

+ Complete documentation such as job travelers, inspection reports, and nonconformance records
