Job Description

                    Our client, a leading machine manufacturer in the Concord area is currently seeking the following: CNC Mill Setup / Operator

MAJOR DUTIES:Setup and operate CNC Mill machines. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Setup the machine by using proper tools, and the most efficient technique. 
Align vises, fixtures with indicator to be parallel or square to a reference surface ie: table, fixture, vise etc. 
Indicate position of the fixture and parts. 
Set Mill to correct position by using the right numeric code. 
Make dry run to check program for errors. 
Be able to change and modify a program. 
Change tool length and diameter offsets, fixture and pallet offsets. 
Be able to modify and grind cutting tools (end mills, drill, boring bars, form tools) if necessary, and use proper feed and speed for maximum efficiency. 
Check the first part and make sure that all the dimensions are within tolerance.
