We’re hiring for a CNC Miller to join a well-established engineering business based in Droylsden.

What will you be doing as a CNC Miller?
* Setting and operating Haas CNC milling machines
* Working on vertical machining centres including VF3, VF3YT, EC400 and UMC500 (5 Axis)
* Making minor program edits using Haas control
* Working from engineering drawings to tight tolerances (+/- 0.2 to +/- 0.05)
* Machining aluminium, tool steel and some plastics
* Producing batch work from small runs to higher volume production
* Carrying out self-inspection using verniers and calipers
* Supporting quality checks before CMM verification (Mitutoyo APEX)
* Rotating across machines within the milling section...
