**Job Description**
This role involves operating CNC mills and lathes to perform both production and custom machining runs using FANUC controls. ollaborative team.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate CNC mills and CNC lathes to complete production and custom machining runs using FANUC controls.
+ Set up CNC machines, including tooling, workholding, and basic offset adjustments, to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
+ Run 2- to 3-axis mills with cycle times ranging from approximately 20 minutes to 1.5 hours, managing one machine at a time.
+ Interpret and work from existing CNC programs created by the day shift, understanding the basics of programming to make minor edits when needed.
+ Machine parts from copper, steel, castings, aluminum, and other metals, consistently maintaining tolerances down to half a thousandth of an inch.
