Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Develop new CNC programs for prototype parts, production runs or modify existing programs on different machines when necessary.

Analyze drawings to determine dimensions/profile to choose cutting tools, machine speeds and feed rates.

Identify and apply appropriate tooling based on types of material and its cutting conditions.

Apply programs in process worksheet to determine input data points and number of processes in operations.

Perform to provide parts materials sizes for machining to support purchasing & engineering to source for equivalents grade and its sizes.

Design workholding/fixturing, as needed with assistance from process engineering or production.

Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process.

To perform other similar or related duties as directed by superior from time to time.
