CNC Setter cum Team Leader

Job description:

We are representing our client, a precision manufacturing and CNC workshop specializing in the production of medical and dental instruments and supplies.

• Location: Kota Damansara, Selangor
• Working hours: Mon-Fri (7.30am-4.30pm)

Job Responsibilities:

• Independently set up, prove-out and optimise jobs on the machines above (series 100–10,000 pcs).
• Load programs (Mazatrol / Mitsubishi conversational / G-code), set tools & offsets, run first article, achieve repeatable ±0.01 mm or better.
• Make small on-machine edits in Mazatrol and Mitsubishi conversational screens.
• Lead, guide and train a small team of operators – ensure they follow correct setup sheets and run jobs properly.
• Be the main communication point between management (China/Malaysia) and the shop floor.
• Conduct daily 5–10 min morning briefing, assign jobs, check progress, solve problems fast.
