The Role:

* Working on a range of CNC Turning machines (online)

* Setting and operating the machinery

* Produce small batch work and special made to order components

* Perform first‑off and in‑process inspections using verniers, micrometers, gauges, and height tools.

* Working from complex technical drawings

* Produce small batch work and special made to order components

* Machine components using a wide variety of different metals and materials

Person Specification:

* CNC Turning experience is crucial

* Setting and operating experience is essential: Programming skills are beneficial

* Ability to work with different controls such as Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens

* Worked with different manual measuring tools and equipment

* Ability to work from technical drawings and job sheets<...
