Job description:

Responsibilities:

 Development of manufacturing routes for new components.

 Ability to use CadCam system

 Design fixtures

 Programming of CNC lathe and machining centre machine tools.

 Help with setting of new products and prove out new fixture

 Identification and purchasing of tooling required for operational purposes.

 Participation in tenders relating to New Product Introduction.

 Development of Machine Operators competence

 Look at process/program improvements

 Organise Regular maintenance of work equipment & machines to ensure good running order.

 Accurate time recording on both Route Sheets and Production Management System.

 Completing dimensional check on jobs prior to breakdown from machine.

 Informing QC Dept. / Management of any non-conformances.

 Inform management if machines not running to correct times
