Job Description

What is the Opportunity?
The Student Estimator will have the opportunity to support the civil east team in their process of offering proposals and working with the estimating team.
What You’ll Do Here: 
Being mentored by Senior and Chief Estimators in bidding projects including construction approach

Pursuing various projects including a combination of private client proposals, design-build and bid-build projects ranging from roads, bridges, elevated guideways, airports, hydro power dams and many other heavy civil projects

Working with the estimating team on proposal preparation including: Quantity takeoff and updating estimate software with quantities
Database analysis
Subcontractor/Vendor solicitation
Subcontractor/Vendor Quote comparisons & analysis
Entering quotes into estimate software
Assisting with project execution
Assisting in design build process and working with design teams
