Job Description

Job Tasks and Responsibilities
The Coal Quality Engineer provides technical support to ensure accurate coal quality information, effective coal processing performance, and compliance with customer specifications. The role assists in quality control, sampling, data management, and operational optimisation across ROM, CHPP, stockpiles and product coal streams.
Skills and Experience

Skills
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

Skilled in problem solving and coal plant blending processes.

Competent on full range of Microsoft programs.

Modelling Software – Maptek Vulcan and/or Minex would be ideal, or similar modelling software

Database software – Micromine Geobank would be ideal

Scheduling/Stockpile software – SPRY and Blandr would be ideal
Knowledge
Effective knowledge of coal production process and theories.
