Cold Storage Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW



The Cold Storage & Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and efficient operation of all cold storage systems, which is the core function of the role. Additionally, the technician provides support for the maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning (AC) units across the facility. This role requires technical expertise in refrigeration/HVAC systems and an understanding of food safety requirements in temperature-controlled environments.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Primary Responsibilities (Cold Storage):



• Operate, monitor, maintain, and repair cold storage systems to ensure required temperatures are consistently achieved.

• Conduct regular inspections of cold rooms, blast freezers, and storage equipment to ensure food safety and optimal performance.
