Job Summary
The Collection Assistant is responsible for supporting premium receivables management through timely billing, collection follow-ups, reconciliation of payments, and monitoring of outstanding accounts. The role ensures accurate reporting, proper application of payments, and adherence to service level agreements to minimize overdue accounts and policy cancellations.
Key Responsibilities1. Collection Management
- Prepare and generate monthly Statements of Account (SOA).
- Distribute SOAs to intermediaries on or before the 10th of each month.
- Conduct daily follow-ups on overdue premiums via calls, SMS, and email.
- Send collection notices every 10th and 30th of the month.
- Issue cancellation notices every 25th of the month.
- Monitor returned checks and issue demand letters within one (1) working day.
- Coordinate with third-party messengerial services for scheduled collections.
