Collection Specialist

Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts to identify overdue debts
• Research historical data for each debt or invoice
• Contact clients to discuss their overdue payments
• Implement strategies to encourage prompt debt repayment
• Process payments and issue refunds
• Address billing and customer credit concerns
• Update account status records and track collection efforts
• Report on collection activities and accounts receivable status

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or in a similar position
• Understanding of billing processes and collection methods
• Proficient in MS Office and database management
• Comfortable working towards targets
• Patience and ability to handle stressful situations
