Collection Specialist

Job Summary: The Collection Specialist will be responsible for contacting customers with overdue accounts, resolving misunderstandings, and educating them on payment terms and consequences. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a knack for problem-solving, ensuring that customers are informed and satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Call customers with overdue accounts to discuss payment options.
• Explain the benefits of repayment and how it affects their credit history.
• Correct any misunderstandings regarding product policies and terms.
• Diffuse tension stemming from previous negative customer experiences.
• Set up payment plans and establish follow-up schedules.
• Educate customers on the consequences of late payments.
• Escalate difficult or unusual cases to the Team Lead as needed.
