Collections Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a large portfolio of past-due accounts, following daily outreach targets (e.g., ~100 calls/day).
• Build rapport and negotiate payment arrangements directly with clients to reduce delinquencies.
• Monitor accounts daily and recommend repossession or escalation actions when necessary.
• Ensure full compliance with collections, bankruptcy, and repossession laws.
• Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and finance teams on high-risk or sensitive accounts.
• Record and track payments accurately using CRM and billing systems.
• Propose and implement process improvements to streamline collections and increase efficiency.
• Enforce internal collections policies and procedures to maintain standardization and compliance.
