ComFuturo postdoctoral researcher

The ComFuturo fellow will develop his/her own project on the topic “Big Data and AI to Unravel the Role of Complex Structural Variants in Ageing”.

• Education: PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Programming Skills: R and/or Python for data analysis, visualization, and pipeline development.
• Linux/HPC: Experience working in Linux-based HPC environments and managing workflows (e.g., Slurm, Snakemake).
• Desirable Skills: Expertise in the analysis of transposable elements.

The ComFuturo fellowship will include a three-year employment contract for the beneficiary researchers, with a salary and financial complements to cover moving expenses, housing or family obligations; and an annual allowance for expenses associated with the development of their research.
