Commercial Notebook Systems Manager (SM)

Overview

Commercial Notebook System Manager role focuses on end-to-end system-level ownership of commercial notebook platforms (e.g., ProBook, EliteBook, Dragonfly). They serve as the technical and operational bridge between engineering, product management, quality, and supply chain teams—ensuring platform health, issue resolution, and lifecycle continuity from NPI through sustaining and End of Service (EOS).

Responsibilities

• Platform Ownership: Own the system-level health of assigned notebook platforms across their lifecycle—from NPI to EOL and EOS.

• Issue Resolution & Escalation Management: Lead root cause analysis and resolution of BIOS, EC, thermal, and mechanical issues. Manage escalations through structured paths (e.g., BIOS war rooms, 3LS, CQ/OOC).
