Commercial Solar Sales Consultant

Pay: $60K to $288K

8MSolar is a leading solar installer in North Carolina. We are looking for a dynamic self-motivated commercial sales consultant to join the team.

Job tasks include but are not limited to:

• Select solar energy products, systems, or services for customers based on electrical energy requirements, site conditions, price, or other factors.
• Understand how commercial solar projects work, whether public or private bidding.
• Understand how to read bid specifications, handle RFQs, understand commercial electric rate structures and how to size solar.
• Provide customers with information, such as quotes, orders, sales, shipping, warranties, credit, funding options, incentives, or tax rebates. Should be able to understand financing options and discuss these with customers.
• Gather information from prospective customers and breakdown their electric bills to identify their solar energy needs.
