The Commis 1 – Pastry is responsible for assisting in the preparation, production, and presentation of all pastry and dessert items in accordance with established recipes, standards, and quality expectations. This role ensures consistent quality, maintains kitchen hygiene, and supports the smooth daily operations of the pastry section.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Assist the Pastry Chef in developing new dessert items and seasonal menus.
• Ensure all ingredients and mise en place are prepared and available before service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, ensuring all workstations comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
