About the role

Cititel Express Ipoh, a leading hotel in Ipoh, Perak, is seeking a skilled Commis 2 to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Commis 2, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This is a full-time position based in our Ipoh location.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting the Chef De Partie and Senior Commis in the preparation, cooking and presentation of a variety of dishes
2. Ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety are maintained at all times
3. Participating in menu development and testing of new dishes
4. Effectively communicating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery
5. Maintaining a clean and organised work station
6. Adhering to all relevant health, safety and food handling regulations
