Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked items
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes
Support daily mise en place and baking production
Operate basic baking equipment safely and correctly
Ensure all food is prepared according to hygiene and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas
Assist with stock rotation and proper storage of ingredients
Follow instructions from senior bakers and pastry chefs
Participate in learning and skill development within the bakery team
Requirements
Basic knowledge or training in baking or pastry (culinary school preferred but not mandatory)
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
Team player with a positive attitude
