Position Summary
The Commis Chef 1 is a skilled junior line cook responsible for independently preparing and cooking assigned menu items. The role supports Western and Asian kitchen sections, ensuring consistent food quality while complying with hygiene, safety, and Halal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook assigned Western and Asian dishes according to approved recipes and standards.
- Manage mise-en-place independently for assigned sections.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Support service operations efficiently during peak periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
