The Commis assists in preparing dishes in line with the restaurant's culinary standards. The role supports sustainability in food preparation and ensures accuracy based on POS orders.
Responsibilities
● Prepare ingredients and dishes under supervision of chefs.
● Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
● Coordinate with POS orders and kitchen printing systems for accuracy.
● Assist in tracking food costs, wastage, and inventory.
● Contribute to menu development and eco-friendly dining initiatives.
Qualifications
● Education: Culinary diploma or equivalent experience.
● Experience: At least 1–2 years in kitchen operations.
● Skills: Food prep, sanitation, inventory reporting, POS kitchen tickets.
● Attributes: Passion for cooking, detail-oriented, ability to work under pressure.
