Job Summary

The Commis III – Baker is responsible for assisting in the daily bakery operations by preparing bread, rolls, and basic bakery items according to hotel standards. This role supports senior pastry chefs while ensuring hygiene, food safety, and quality standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and baking of bread, rolls, pastries, and basic bakery products
• Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
• Prepare mise en place as instructed by senior chefs
• Ensure cleanliness and proper hygiene of the bakery work area at all times
• Comply with hotel food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards
• Properly store raw materials and finished products
• Assist in receiving and checking bakery ingredients for freshness and quality
