Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients (e.g., chopping vegetables, portioning meat, preparing sauces).
  • Support daily kitchen preparation tasks and ensure stations are properly set up.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas.
  • Store ingredients and food items properly (labeling, dating, FIFO).
  • Assist in basic cooking tasks as directed by CDP or Sous Chef.
  • Follow food safety standards and company SOPs.
  • Assist in dishwashing or receiving stock when needed.

Requirements

  • Some kitchen experience preferred, but fresh graduates or trainees are welcome.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Willing to work at Mont Kiara/ Genting Highlands
