About the role

Zirconia Inc' is seeking a talented Commis Pastry to join our dynamic team in our bakery located in Makati City Metro Manila. This full-time position will involve assisting our experienced pastry chefs in the preparation and presentation of a wide range of artisanal baked goods and desserts.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist in the preparation of a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
2. Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality
3. Maintain a clean and organised workstation to meet food safety and hygiene standards
4. Provide support to the pastry chefs during periods of high demand
5. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production, quality, and process improvements
6. Take pride in the presentation of all baked goods leaving the kitchen
