The Commis – Raffles Club supports the culinary team in delivering refined food experiences in the hotel’s exclusive executive lounge, which caters to discerning guests throughout the day. The lounge offers a curated selection of breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres in an elegant and private setting. Under the guidance of senior chefs, the Commis assists in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes for both buffet and à la carte service, ensuring consistency, freshness, and timely replenishment.
Key responsibilities include preparing ingredients, organizing mise en place, assisting with cooking and plating, and maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with food safety standards. The Commis contributes to the smooth daily operation of the kitchen and plays a vital role in upholding the exceptional quality and attention to detail that define the Raffles brand.
