Commodity Buyer

The Job Summary:



Wrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe. We are recruiting for a Commodity Buyer who will supply materials at the optimum acquisition cost ensuring quality standards are maintained and departmental goals achieved.



The Role:

• Responsible for maintaining the cost on the Bill of Materials for all products within the commodities you are responsible for and ensuring costs are less than the current sales quotation per contract.


• Responsible for issuing requests for quotation (RFQ’s) for any new parts added to the Bill of Materials within the allotted commodities.


• Ensure MRP system (SAGE) is accurately maintained with key information including price, lead-time, HS codes etc.
