Commodity Manager – Notebook / Hardware Programs
Role Summary
The Commodity Manager will manage hardware components and development programs for notebook platforms, working closely with engineering teams and ODM partners to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Experience
7+ years in hardware or platform/product development
3+ years in program or leadership role
Experience in notebook/PC hardware preferred
Experience with ODM/OEM partners is a plus
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end hardware/platform development programs from concept to production
Work with engineering, ODMs, and cross-functional teams to deliver products on time
Manage program schedules, budgets, and resources
Track component qualification and validation status
Coordinate with ODMs to ensure timely qualification and implementation
Identify and resolve technical and program issues
Manage risks and create mitigation plans for component shortages
