Commodity Risk Analyst - Calgary Role

Join our Calgary office as a Commodity Risk Analyst, focusing on market risks in crude, gas, and power. This key position drives governance while enhancing middle-office practices.
We seek a Risk Analyst with 1-4 years of experience in commodity risk management. North American crude experience is highly preferred, along with knowledge in stress testing, VaR, and financial hedging strategies. Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with CTRM/ETRM systems are required, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Treasury and Audit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate financial, operational, and reputational risks
• Ensure adherence to risk governance protocols
• Create daily P&L attribution reports
• Conduct stress testing for clearing accounts
• Manage counterparty onboarding processes
