Commodity Specialist

Purpose: Responsible for the company's end-to-end sourcing of products related to manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOMs). In addition, the individual will be responsible for all phases of sourcing that require the skills necessary to identify cost-saving opportunities, lead-time reduction, supplier relationship management, create competitive environments, creatively negotiate, and generate contracts to assure the availability of all products to support the company objectives.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Source for materials, components, and service-related activities at the most competitive prices to fulfill business requirements out from Malaysia.
• Responsible for reallocation of business volume from high cost region to low cost suppliers in Malaysia to meet cost saving target
• To audit new and existing suppliers in Malaysia
• To drive supplier in Malaysia for continuous improvement program in cost, leadtime and MOQ reduction.
